A Good End
Life, a tunnel:
Light at the end
distant and quelled
A friend now fiend
There be a bell
a tune it rends
story, it tells
of turns and bends
Doubt then funnels
breaks that we mend
in dark tunnels
lacking some tend
‘Distant’ light sells:
for self, I fend
Rope from dark-hell
pull-fears portend
“Shall be well!”, says
Light at the end.

Context:
Light is universal. We like light. We hate darkness. This is an optimistic poem that describes my firm belief that everything will work together for my good no matter how undoubtedly sad everything may seem.
